.: rule the world

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own

I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing:
Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!

One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my Mirror my Sword and Shield
My Missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
Once you go there was never
Never an honest word
That was when I Ruled the World

It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in.
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become

Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh who would ever want to be king?

I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my Mirror my Sword and Shield
My Missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world

Hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my Mirror my Sword and Shield
My Missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world

.: One Day Poem Pavilion

A colleague of mine forwarded me an email about this pavilion some times ago, I find it awesome, but then I hadn't had the time to share it here, until now. So here it is, enjoy!

It's just a small pavilion, but the idea & especially the realization are so awesome! It uses a complex array of perforated panels, let the light passing through the pavilion’s surface & produces shifting patterns, which transform into the legible text of a poem. Well, it's a science & math things, but it's sure an art too.

Just pay a visit to the website & be amazed!

Have a nice day!

.: old ending & new beginning

It's been a while since my last post, many things happened, couldn't manage my time to post *phew* now it's still office hour but I'm totally jobless *fufufu* that's why I can post this.

Ending the year of 2008, I joined the new year's eve event @ 30th storey of high street center building & captured some wonderful moments.

Then - starting the year of 2009 - just few days after, came my little baby daughter, Nathania Mikaela whom we call NaMi (means : wave). It's about 1.5 months earlier then the schedule, so it caused a lil' panic, but it was a amazing experience ^^

Now - with my new title as a 'dad' - I (it's "we" actually) keep learning on how to take a good care of this tiny blessing.

Farewell 2008, welcome 2009, welcome NaMi, welcome "Niu" year.

.: kickin'

My wife's entering her 5th month of pregnancy now & the baby kickin' is getting more & more. So, lately i've been so excited trying to communicate & play with the baby .. or maybe i should call fetus ..but nevermind, coz we always call by 'baby'.

Often we talk or ask the baby then wait for the baby to respond, but sometimes the baby just stay cool, keep quiet, so we try to find a way to get the respond :p find out where the baby is, press here & there, keep talkin' and place our palm all around my wife's big tummy, or just wait & see (because sometimes it's so obvious that we can just see it).

One more thing that is very exciting for me is when we're ready to go to sleep, the baby already sleep (coz no movement), then when we start praying suddenly the baby wake up, so we pray together with the baby, then the baby will sleep again after that (well, sometimes the baby just won't directly go to sleep).

It's fun. Really. ^^

.: 20th Century Boys (1/3) : rocks!

Just couple months ago I finished reading the manga, and just like others Urasawa Naoki's mangas that I've read before (Mr. Keaton & Monster) it's awesome!

Then couple weeks ago suddenly I found out that the movie's at the cinemas already! I was so excited, couldn't wait to watch the movie but there are priorities & I couldn't watch it immediately.

Finally I watch it yesterday (28.10.2008) - thanks to my wife - and it's awesome! The characters are just exactly the same as in the manga (well, almost, Kenji should be thinner & less handsome, & Yukiji should be less pretty, Manjohme also not that very much alike), the story (with some cutting for sure, if not then it would be very much too long), the scene (though the explosion is too much, i forget if in the manga is like that or less), the atmosphere, the suspense ... also how the giant robot moves
... all just great! it's really a great manga-movie!

Well i'm not sure if it's really a great movie for people who hasn't read the manga (my wife said it's ok, not great), just watch it then you let me know ... but for me, i just can't wait to watch the next 2 movies ^^

Rock!
